Happy Birthday, Arlecchino!

Today has been unusually quiet. Still, seeing the barely hidden smiles on the children's faces... I imagine they have a bedtime surprise in store for me.
Lyney's hat? A novel idea.
Hmm, the card designs look better than before, and their handwriting has improved as well... Looks like all that practice has paid off.
From that look on your face... I take it there's one from you in this pile as well?
In the latest episode of the Trash Taste podcast, Sally Amaki revealed that she landed the role of KAngel/Ame-chan in Needy Girl Overdose at a time when she was considering leaving the entertainment industry.
In 2023, Sally felt she had reached the peak of her career after starring in several series and hosting events.
"Instead of feeling that was the start of my career, I kind of felt that was like the peak of my career because it's been like seven years since I've started my journey. I felt like I did everything I can."
Around that time, a staff member at Aniplex helped her get an audition for Needy Girl Overdose and she got the part. Sally also shared how deeply she relates to the character.
“When I read the script for Needy Girl Overdose, it came really easily to me. Like, Wow, I really connect to everything she’s saying.”
She specifically mentioned a line from the audition where KAngel lashes out at her viewers, saying they don't really know her and Sally said she completely understood those feelings.
