Chris Brown says he hates the music industry and vows to "be the villain."

On Tuesday (Sept. 22), CB released a lengthy statement on Instagram letting the world know exactly how he feels.

"I’m not your friend I’m not your buddy I don’t like majority of you I don’t want your approval I don’t want your fake love I hate the music industry," he wrote.

"I don’t wanna participate in this circus," he added. "If it doesn’t benefit my children I don’t need it You will no longer be able to be around me. F**K BEING HUMBLE. F**k your agenda F**k your narrative F**k how you feel I DON’T LIKE NONE OF YOU CELEBRITIES I AM THE BEST HANDS DOWN IM THE KING. I’M ON THAT TYPE OF TIMING NOT A SINGLE ARTIST ON THIS PLANET CAN F**K WIT ME ON MY WORST DAY! They know it. I’m tired of being nice F**K YO OPINION I’LL BE THE VILLAIN."

It is unclear what sparked the blunt statement. But Breezy has made headlines multiple times in the past several weeks. In July, he pleaded guilty to a 2023 nightclub assault in London and is currently awaiting sentencing. The same month, he was ordered to pay his former housekeeper $13 million in a dog attack lawsuit.

Earlier this month, Rep. Jasmine Crockett and Texas state Rep. Venton Jones honored Brown for his musical contributions during a tour stop in Texas, which led to backlash for the politicians. After Jones apologized for his role in honoring Brown, the crooner called out the representative.

What begins as exile becomes a journey through grief, family, identity and inheritance.

"Diarra From Detroit" creator, writer, and star Diarra Kilpatrick is speaking candidly about the emotional dynamics between Black women and Black men, using her character’s relationship as a mirror for real-life conversations.

In an interview with Jasmine Brand, Kilpatrick reflected on the storyline involving Diarra’s boyfriend, who frequently breaks down in tears. The plotline, she said, forced her to reconsider how men process emotion and how women respond to it.

“It did make me feel like, I understand what Black men are carrying because a lot of times we cannot handle their extreme vulnerability in that way,” Kilpatrick said. “And you know, to me the humor of it comes from like, if Diarra was in her 20s and this dude is crying constantly, maybe she’d be like, listen, can we get to the bottom of this together? But that biological clock is ticking and she don’t have, it’s like, nigga, pull it together, you know what I mean? Or move along. And so I do think that’s where a lot of Black women are, particularly in their 30s and 40s too.”

The comments highlight a tension the series has explored across its seasons: the weight Black men carry, the limited space often given to their vulnerability, and the practical realities many Black women face as they weigh partnership against time, stability, and their own goals.
