@racco I’ve not read the particular advert so I don’t know if it does either way but there are sometimes good reasons to need to employ from a particularly protected characteristic pool, gender is the one I’ve most commonly seen though.

@racco If the job advert makes it clear why a certain, protected characteristic is required for that particular role, why the role would only be successful if that requirement was met, and for good measure mentions the Equality ACT 2010 Schedule 9 law that supports this then it’s ok.

Starbucks would be a good attractor but why don’t they use the site next to the Roxy that says it is there to be redeveloped into shops rather than tear down another business that is still operating?
