@Chrissssjohnson I see you've got real discipline - respect for that!
Just one thing: make sure you're buying Bitcoin straight into your own self-custody wallet, not into third-party custodial services.
@MakaveliOdogwu Yes, these are terrible fee prices if you don’t have TRX in staking.
TRC20 has become convenient only for people who make transactions very rarely, or, on the contrary, very often and hold a lot of TRX.
For other users, Tron has lost its appeal.
Sending USDT on TRC20 right now? You're probably paying $5–8 per transfer.
The same USDT on BNB Chain or Solana costs under $0.10 - and lands in seconds.
Here's how to pick the right USDT network in 2026 - and hold every version in one wallet 👇

I checked and clarified the issue. Everything is working, but there is one nuance: the Gem Wallet node must be selected in the settings:
Settings => Preferences => Network => Solana => Gem Wallet node
If you already have a Gem Wallet node selected, please try switching to another Gem Wallet node. There are 3 of them available.
A more stable fix will be included in the next update.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Making apps easier to use can sometimes come at the cost of one of crypto's core promises: self-custody.
@GemWallet integrated one-click cross-chain swaps with Mayan without having to make that tradeoff.
For technical issues, it’s always better to contact support by email at [email protected] or directly through the Support section in the app. There are people available 24/7 waiting for messages.
Twitter/X is handled by the marketing team, and we are not always online
We would need more details:
What wallet version are you using? Is it the latest update?
Are you using iOS?
Which blockchain exactly had the issue?
Its better to message support - they’ll help you faster.
@Hercules_Defi@ton_blockchain@durov Gem Wallet is more than a TON wallet.
It brings full Jetton support, native swaps via @ston_fi, and cross-chain swaps for TON - all in one self-custody app.
