I don't know if I'll be on Twitter for another month, find me elsewhere @nerdytransmom.bsky.social. I'll probably build some data visualizations of my HRT journey soon.
Now, I do put a lot of weight on my back, my daughter is older now and I carry her quite a bit, but. . . that hasn't changed much in the past 2 years. Suprising to drop half an inch of height like that, I feel like I have to attribute some of that to HRT.
I was at a science museum with my daughter and height measurement was a thing, and I was barely over 5'10". 5'10½" was actually generous.
I'm used to clocking in at just under 6', and I usually say 5'11".
Libido is through the floor. Which was a huge thing for me. Libido preHRT was hard to manage. I was a little worried about 200mg progesterone increasing libido, but for me it's fallen ot basically zero (which was desired for me)
I also increased my dosage this week to 6mg of Estrogen, with another blood test scheduled in two months with the expectation to increase it to 8mg if I'm not where I want to be. I think this coming month will probably see some pronounced changes (or maybe not 🤷♀️)
Also Estradiol Value is at 89 pg/mL
Which is higher than I expected at 4mg and not taking an anti-androgen. My goal is to be within the 200-300 range, which I'll be interested to see if I'm able to get that with oral tablets.
She spends the rest of the movie using queer theory and feminism to convince everyone that trans women are real before concluding the movie by saying "ACAB" and flying off to live on a queer commune on the north pole.
The Santa Clause (1994) is an explicitly queer movie about a trans woman that goes from extremely divorced dad to full femme when she accidentally cancels a trans woman on TDOV eve and has to reluctantly deliver trans memes to the good little queers whereupon . . .
she unwittingly agrees to a magic contract that causes her to force femme, but it dramatically improves her quality of life. Her son is like "hell yeah, cool mom is way better than a dad trapped in the cage of masculinity. But eveyone else doesn't believe trans women are real.
Two months on HRT, and I find myself puzzled by my reflection.
It’s like. . . my face matches what I expect to see better? But I can’t tell if that’s more to do with my expectations than my face?
