@dalvincookin@chuk85 That’s my #1 issue tho. How can we design an offense all offseason for Kyler, and the plan is to turn him into a pocket passer throwing deep?
Take away last year, the Bucs gameplan was so bad. Wtf was the plan?He does get a few games, but I don’t trust any of the qbs health 😂
@Walterskol1@DavidKnutsonPP@Gabz8907 Wouldn’t you rather be the jets..? The goal is a Super Bowl
I would rather win 4 games then lose by 60 to the rams and lions in the playoffs again.
Vikings are in the worst position in sports and it’s hell. Offense has 0 shot to win multiple playoff games, team to good to tank
@dalvincookin@chuk85 I agree he does need a specific QB to work, but a top 5 play caller should be able to adjust and help his QB! The minute the o line struggled, KOC has GREATLY struggled always been my #1 issue. Short yardage del throws #2.
I don’t put much stock into votes or awards. Cc: Nagy
@dalvincookin@chuk85 All fair points. Not fact checking any of these, but passing more than others helps
Looking back now too, Kirk and Sam D both top 10ish qbs, with elite line play and weapons. Fair to say the o should be top 10 every year?
New qb every year partly KOC fault
@JoshLaBare03@JordanTSilveira Sorry I don’t trust “you’ve watched a lot of football” so you know JJ isn’t a good QB.
Kyler Murray just had his worst game ever with KOC. He’s starting 90+ games. Asking a qb to do something he is not good at/not ready for is malpractice.
Not changing after that’s clear is..?
@JasonHarmonNFL I respect about 50%.
Half of them are taking victory laps celebrating how “right” they were about 9.
I’m glad most are opening eyes to KOC, but they will be the first to give him all the credit for 3-0, and discredit JJ 4-0.
Saying he can’t be qb2 in the cfl to giants qb1 soon
@dalvincookin@chuk85 So genuinely asking, why is he an above average play caller? Not throwing shade
-short yardage issues
-Sam D had an ELITE o line, Darrisaw hurt, Sam d stunk
-KOC issues to adjust (you can blame 9, but 0 RPO’s or runs for Kyler???)
-compared to BJ with keenum
(I agree on rest)
@JoshLaBare03@JordanTSilveira Kyler: needs to be outside the pocket with quick easy throws. Why is his ypa 15?!?
JJ: why are we making him try to go thru 4 reads week 1 with a bad o line? 0 easy throws, 0 run game.
BUT*injures changed everything, 100x harder “developing” a qb who can play in 20% of the time
@JoshLaBare03@JordanTSilveira I would argue he is in the same situation as Kyler right now.
KOC is playing to none of his strenghs, and all of his weaknesses. JJ has never sat in the pocket had had to dissect a defense. That’s tough for any rookie qb. Situation and context matters, Koc system asks ALOT
@Ndudgeon8@DustBaker Play the victim, it fits.
That is exactly why this stat is clearly flawed.
Vikings have been VERY beneficial with to and penalty luck (on the same play too!)
To say it’s 0.0 is completely disingenuous and clear it’s flawed.
A Vikings CBS reporter adding 0 context is misleading
@DustBaker@Peter_Bukowski
Imagine covering the Vikings for CBS, and trying to play the “Vikings are unlucky” card
Did they watch the packers game?!? The coverage is an absolute joke
@Ndudgeon8@DustBaker This is a lie. It’s dropped by opponents??
And again, if you can show me 1 INT dropped by the Vikings 50% as bad as the bush one, I will admit I was wrong.
But these stats are so clearly flawed😂😂😂
@DustBaker You can try arguing this, but when something is 0.0, that means it never happened
He clearly threw an awful pass that should be intercepted 99.9999% of the time.
Arguing this to push the narrative Vikings are unlucky is weird.
3 3rd down 15 yards penalties on 1 drive is luck
@DustBaker If this is true, please show me 5 examples of an INT dropped worse than Bush on the bears.
That is the worst dropped INT in recent memory, and will be top 5 all season.
Next, the percentage is 0.0. So it didn’t take that throw into consideration at all? There was a clear drop?
So let me get this straight. I'm supposed to "trust KOC--JJ sucks," when he's the guy who just a year ago let Darnold (+ Jones) walk--for JJ. And I'm supposed to trust KOC that Kyler/Wentz are better than JJ now, even though they've played worse than him last year?
@johnpwilkin@happyjoelucky@thisisMNsports Dude, the team gave up on JJ and publicly called him out after game 2, then had hit pieces on him for the next 2 years.
90+ start Kyler needs a full season, but the youngest starting qb got 5 games. (Pretty clear KOC was done w him, last 5 games didn’t matter to him)
