The love of my life passed in her sleep. 35 years together, 3 kids, 3 grandkids, and I already miss her so much. We buried her on her 55th birthday. Married 5yrs w/1 daughter. Divorced for 2yrs (dated most of that off n on). Remarried and 2 more kids. 35yrs.

Domino has been pacing the house, yelling. I assume looking for Chewie. Atleast he's up and moving again. And eating again. His cries just sound so pitiful, though.

This is where he's been pretty much since Chewie passed. For the first few days, he hid in the back bathroom. Eventually, he made it to the dining room table. He just got a new box and got brushed. I even have the back bathroom faucet dripping. so I know he drinks enuff water.

@gecffmn Years ago, there was a big deal in Nevada about high rise pickups. If said pickup rear ends another car at speed, there's no bumper to bumper contact to reduce the kinetic energy of the collision. A family of 4 died when the pickup ended up on top of a car, crushing the roof.

@deannabryant210 That's what they offer and I was trying to do at Harris County. Out of probably 300 kittens online, only a few were actually available to adopt, and they were either female or they looked lifeless. Even the kittens still too young to adopt atm were marked taken. Petco kickback?

I never thought adopting a male kitten already neutered and vaxxed would be so damn difficult. 2hrs wasted going to Houston shelter. All the kittens they showed for adoption were either already taken or, in most cases, a hold was put on them to go to Petcos for adoption there.

@GailLaughingwo1 @petfinder All our cats were strays or were kittens bound for the shelter by a friend of a friend. Both Chewie and Domino were bound for the shelter. Domino, the very next day if we didn't take him. I have an appt at a Houston shelter in the morning. Hopefully, I find the next member.

Welp. Ain't that something. I had to say goodbye to Chewie last Saturday. I knew it was coming and Id have to adopt. Domino has been depressed since. I went on @petfinder to adopt a kitten. The foster mom pulled the plug because my boys always preferred kibble. 💔

@RickChapterTwo I still love it. I freeze small blocks of provolone. I season the ground chuck a day or 2 in advance. Mix 1/2 can of drained Rotel green chili's and tomatoes right before I form and provolone in center. Heinz chili sauce and rest of Rotel as topping. My wife's recipe.
