Thanks to everyone who helped me realize this, especially @Key0ske@lilygusokumoshi and @EverythingWhifs. Without you guys I wouldn't have been able to take this important step in redeveloping my own happiness.
I realize looking back that many of my best memories with 3rd Strike were when I was learning the game with my friends, discovering some weird new mechanic or quirk or fun fact every day. That went away, but I still wanted to be the best. But not anymore.
So TLDR; I'm going to be worrying less about competing and focus more on TOing going forward, because its what I love to do. I'm also going to branch off into new games, because I think playing only 3s for so long has hurt my enjoyment for video games as a whole.
I never explored FGs outside of 3s very much, and the ones I have I never really liked or felt interested enough to pursue, but after giving SSBU another shot I really want to explore more games from a lower-stakes standpoint.

After I was done with all the pools I was running, I got to walk around and see glimpses of a lot more games that I had never given the time of day. VSAV, BBCF, P4A, Tekken, even some of the crazy shit in mystery bracket all looked so interesting.
I ended up having a lot of fun running SF6, and it honestly felt like they put me there because they had more faith in me to run a bigger, more chaotic bracket. It was my first offline experience TOing since early 2020, and I feel like I did a great job.
So starting with 3rd Strike, I was actually trying to get a spot running bracket this year, but was placed in SF6 instead. For bracket itself I wasn't even seeded, it felt like no one knew who I was... I placed pretty poorly but it doesn't affect me as much as I thought it would.
Going to be taking a hiatus from running and attending events, Frosty Faustings will probably be the last place I'm seen for a long time as I don't think I can afford to travel to Jazzy Finale anymore. I'll be back when the time is right, but I have other things to focus on now.
ICYMI: @K_6presents joined me to discuss the 1st Jazzy Ranking Tournament, ran by @stupidfighter3 . Part 2 will cover Boa Oro's run to finals. Enjoy!
