EXCL: Altrincham are closing in on an announcement over the signing of former Barnsley and Forest Green goalkeeper Harry Isted.

Isted rejected approaches from Worthing & Carlisle.

EXCL: Peterborough United are not currently considering Robbie Savage for their vacant managerial position, despite reports linking the Forest Green boss with the job.

Savage’s name has been mentioned among potential candidates, but I understand he is not under consideration at this stage.

🚨EXCL: Southampton are willing to keep Tonda Eckert regardless of the outcome of his FA case — but the length of any potential ban will determine their next move.

The club are exploring the possibility of appointing an interim manager to take charge while Eckert serves any suspension.

If Eckert receives a short-term ban, which is currently considered unlikely, Southampton could turn to an internal solution, with Ben Garner and Adam Lallana among the names being considered.

Garner, who currently works alongside Eckert, has previous first-team managerial experience, while Lallana currently manages Southampton’s U21s.

Southampton’s preference remains to retain Eckert, with any interim appointment potentially only being required for the duration of his ban.

@MattAddinall @Stevefootball1 @kyle_hemsley bit of a shit argument as hes clearly making money on way or another or he wouldn't be doing it at the end of the day its a photo😂

🚨EXCL: Collin Kazim-Richards has clashed with multiple senior players during his time at Crawley Town, with tensions contributing to the departure of the club captain who played a major role in helping Crawley secure survival.

Crawley also offered a contract significantly below the terms of another senior leader who was key to their survival.

That player has offered himself back to Crawley on multiple occasions, even indicating a willingness to return on a slightly reduced wage packet.

However, Kazim-Richards has rejected the possibility of bringing him back.

EXCL: Collin Kazim-Richards is under immense pressure at Crawley Town, with his future at the club now in serious doubt.

A decision is expected tomorrow, with the situation reaching a critical point.

I’m told his position has been described as “untenable.”

Daniel Farke has agreed a new long-term contract at Leeds United.

Broad agreement already in place — only paperwork left. 👀

Improved terms after guiding Leeds back and keeping them in the Premier League, as @TEAMtalk reported.

Leeds want him tied down now. Farke side also keen to stay. Announcement incoming.
