“Next time I’ll take pictures of all the small town libraries” is a true thought I had while we drove through rural New England on vacation earlier this month.

Fighting book bans ain't shit. You literally have librarians getting terrorized into quitting and boards being filled with the ones doing the terrorizing. The books will be fine. Take care of the librarians who've taken care of you.
Our librarian Cara continues to be targeted. In the same month she was named one of the top 10 librarians in the country & suspended for a week without pay. This is what standing against censorship earns you in Lafayette, LA.
Our room @Kimpton Schofield is right over the outside patio and 9:30 am seems to mark the beginning of “Crank up the Shitty 70s Jams” time. Fine, we’ll go home. No need to be so rude. ️
@papersquared Stephen Graham Jones. “My Heart Is a Chainsaw” is extra summer. “The Only Good Indians” is the best thing I’ve read in ages. “The Ones That Got Away” is everything I loved about Stephen King stories when I was a teen.
Don’t know who this dbag is at the end of the bar, but he just asked “you’re having a ¿GIN? negroni?” And I was like DUH. And told him that he must be thinking of the Boulevardier which has whiskey. I think he might be the owner???
Always enjoy being in @T_Swanson's @ILSummit sessions. Today for the #ILSummit22 it's "The Broken Mind?: Polarization, Bias, Rationality, & Information Literacy"
Standing room only in 'Embracing “Information Wellness”: A New Paradigm for Teaching Information Literacy' with Maya Hobscheid & Meredith Knoff! I love this presentation! #ILSummit22
