@netflix Beautiful to watch. Painful to listen to. The script is utterly laughable— literally. Burst into laughter during Ep 1 “cat” exchange in alley. Also— going through gates to get to barrels surrounded by boat access? 🤣
So disappointed in the screenwriting. Props to DP, though.
@SkyNews — someone from the political news should give “entertainment” reporter Katie Spencer a quick lesson in professional journalism. She all but rolled her eyes speaking about @KNEECAPCEOL just now.
Her personal opinions aren’t news.
Genocide isn’t entertainment.
SCOOP: Elon Musk’s DOGE has plans to stage a “hackathon” next week in Washington, DC. The goal is to create a single “mega API”—a bridge that lets software systems talk to one another—for accessing IRS data, sources tell WIRED.

the idea you're going to reshore this type of manufacturing is laughable. wheat timbs would cost $500 if made here. basic vans would be $200. a north face jacket would be $750. americans are not paying that kind of money for clothes and shoes.
People keep trying to make this argument to defend what Trump did today. But if China is the problem, Trump should be targeting China. What he did today targeted the entire world. Low trade barriers, no currency manipulation, it doesn't matter: Trump jacked up tariffs on them.
Just figured out where these fake tariff rates come from. They didn't actually calculate tariff rates + non-tariff barriers, as they say they did. Instead, for every country, they just took our trade deficit with that country and divided it by the country's exports to us.
So we have a $17.9 billion trade deficit with Indonesia. Its exports to us are $28 billion. $17.9/$28 = 64%, which Trump claims is the tariff rate Indonesia charges us. What extraordinary nonsense this is.
@IrishTimes “Love-hate?” I’ve yet to meet an Irish person who liked— much less loved— colonization and genocide. @LordCourtown — what exactly is there for the Irish to love about the construction of your estate’s dower house in 1852 as the Famine bodies were stacked up around it?
First and foremost— thinking of all in Ireland who are without services today— especially those with vulnerable family members, health issues and economic challenges to storm clean-up. My issue pales in comparison…
A few years ago, I did a go-round of interviews in the Irish…
@sligorovers for building such a culture for the community.
You certainly had no intention of getting a public shout-out when you did it but people need to know where to look for the best of humanity.
