Great to attend the Chacewater Community Energy Group Nature & Energy Show. Insightful conversations on geothermal energy, lithium and Cornwallâs energy future, and a pleasure to welcome MPs @JayneKirkham4 and @AndrewGeorge_ , and Cllrs Loic Rich and Martyn Alvey, to our stand.
Geothermal + lithium extraction delivers dual revenue: clean energy and critical minerals. GEL is already producing renewable power and low-carbon lithium from geothermal brines, with lower costs, emissions and footprint than hard rock mining.
Fantastic news today as the team at GEL announce initial financing of ÂŁ10m from ABN AMRO to support the development of geothermal power and critical mineral extraction at GEL sites in Cornwall.
