Thebudgiesmugla (NZ) (Redwood) fought bravely to claim victory in the Chandon (Bm78) 2400m at Rosehill. Trained by Bjorn Baker and ridden by Dylan Gibbons, the five-year-old gelding was bred by Bradbury Park and previously raced in New Zealand for Jo Rathbone before being purchased by the Darby Racing team.
