Y3 children chose a country they would like to visit, researched it and made a tourist leaflet. They’ve worked hard today finding out things like humans and physical landmarks, population, climate, cuisine and currency
Year 5 had a real buzz of excitement this afternoon….we carried out a ‘speed date’ type activity to help us learn information about the different biomes in the world. We now know lots of facts! @GeographyBDPS1

Ancient Egypt
@Year3_Bedford started their new @history2bedford unit of work today. Children used their @GeographyBDPS1 skills to locate Egypt and the River Nile using an atlas and then looked at pictures to discuss what life might have been like.
@GeographyBDPS1 On our way back from our Church visit last week, we posted letters in the postbox! The children had learnt about where they live and their address. Did you receive a letter from the postman?
Year 5 enjoyed their @GeographyBDPS1 idled trip this week, conducting a traffic study around school to see the main causes of pollution. We will turn our results in to a graph next week and discuss our findings. #geography#fieldtrip#localarea
Geography- we located the Uk on maps and globes today. Then we learnt that the Uk is in Europe. The children loved using Google Earth, maps and looking in an atlas too! @DriveGeography
