Let us purpose to share love and a message of hope. Let us avoid forwarding alarmist and discouraging information from sources not authenticated. Finally let us continue in prayer and supplication without ceasing...Mungu Mbele.
The Court of Appeal has made a ruling that uphold's the High Court's decision that restricts government and state corporations from engaging private law firms, raising significant concerns about the future of our profession. As the number of practitioners grows, the available opportunities seem to be shrinking. During my campaign for LSK President, I prioritized this issue, but it was met with differing opinions.
The profile and prestige of our profession continue to decline. It’s crucial to reflect on the actions of the current LSK Council. What have they accomplished? Have we taken steps to advocate for our profession in the Court of Appeal? If so, did we employ strong negotiation tactics to secure a ruling that safeguards our collective interests? There are serious challenges ahead.
Rigathi Gachagua must stop pretending he is on a holy mission to save Kenyans while spending his energy sanitizing Uhuru Kenyatta and the Kenyatta family empire.
If Rigathi wants to lecture the country about corruption, greed and betrayal, he must also explain his own billions.
Which industry built him? Which factories? Which exports? Which invention? Which serious enterprise created that kind of wealth? Kenyans are tired of politicians who become billionaires through tenders and proximity to power, then return later wearing the costume of saviours.
And why this obsession with defending Uhuru? Uhuru’s administration left Kenya drowning in debt, Eurobond questions never disappeared, state capture exploded, connected families became richer, and ordinary Kenyans were handed the bill.
Ruto has made the crisis even more worse, but Uhuru helped build the road to this disaster.
Is Rigathi honestly trying to save Kenyans from Ruto’s greed and failures with his 'opposition', or is he trying to rehabilitate one corrupt power network so it can replace another?
The journey of saving Kenyans cannot be led by people obsessed with defending the same Kenyatta family empire that benefited while the country was being looted, borrowed into a hole, and handed over to another gang of thieves.
Today marks a historic and transformative moment for the Law Society of Kenya following the successful demolition of the dilapidated old offices along Gitanga Road. This exercise signals the end of an era and the beginning of a bold new chapter as we pave the way for modern, accessible, and efficient facilities that will better serve our members, stakeholders, and the wider public in advancing the rule of law and access to justice.
The exercise was led by the President, Faith Odhiambo, who was accompanied by Council Members and the Chief Executive Officer. Their presence underscored the Society’s strong commitment to institutional growth, renewal, and the continuous improvement of service delivery. This milestone reflects our shared vision of building a dynamic and future-focused professional body that meets the evolving needs of the legal profession and society.
As we bid farewell to the old premises, we honour the rich history, memories, and milestones that were shaped within those walls. The foundation laid there will continue to inspire our journey forward. We now look ahead with optimism and determination as we prepare for the development of a state-of-the-art facility that embodies excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.

Reminder;"the offence of defilement is anchored on three (3) main ingredients;
(1) The Age of the victim;
(2) Penetration;and
(3) The Proper Identification of the Perpetrator as was established in George Opondo Olunga v Republic [2016] eKLR...the important ingredient is penetration not impregnation."

What's your question to the candidates?
He was deep in thought, vision, & heart. His life, defined by resilience & purpose, continues to inspire strength in both personal & political spheres. Though he now rests, his legacy lives on-a living library of knowledge & wisdom that will guide generations to come.#RailaLegacy
EACC has charged my clients and supplied me with 4000 pages of evidence. The Investigating Officer is cocky and thinks he will jail my clients. Well. Litigation is a game of tact. They have 69 witnesses. My strategy is to cross examine all the 69 witnesses by asking them questions on every sentence in all the 4000 pages. Will be alternating the cross with 5 other lawyers. I intend to take at least 19 years in cross examination. No question will be repeated during the cross.
Irungu Kang'ata's expose is not shocking at all. If we start digging on all the guys, only former CJ Maraga will be found clean. Even during Uhuru's time, they tried to dig Maraga's dirt but found nothing and paid some woman to lie that she had his child out of desperation...
I am deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Hon. Ong’ondo Were, the MP for Kasipul, who was shot in Nairobi. He was a devoted leader and servant of the people. On behalf of Kisii County and my family, I offer heartfelt condolences to his family and constituents. We call on security agencies to investigate this incident and bring those responsible to justice.
May he rest in peace.
The brutal murder of the kasipul MP should be a reminder to members of parliament that their failure to seek accountability for the murders of the youth only helps to breed impunity. It puts all of us at risk. When we pursue the route of living by the sword. We also die by the sword. WAKE up and SMELL the coffee. Seeking accountability makes EVERYONE safe.
@KagutaMuseveni Your Excellency Mzee Museveni, the destruction of Namanve forest 🌳 was under your watch! Hopefully going forward no other forest will be turned into an industrial park!
Some people claiming to be DCI officers from Nairobi in this car have just abducted Justin Siocha in Kisii. Siocha is the whistleblower who exposed the embezzlement of Ksh 19.7 million NGAAF funds by Woman Representative Dorice Donya. We hope he is safe.
