Mentioning the link to the climate crisis is not enough
(even though it would kind of help...).
If we are to have a small chance, this needs to be our main focus.

- people are still dying
- healthy young people with no "underlying health issues" have died from covid
- even if you're fine, you might still spread the virus
- wear a mask in public
- wash/sanitise your hands
Juneteenth has never been a celebration of victory, or an acceptance of the way things are. It's a celebration of progress. It's an affirmation that despite the most painful parts of our history, change is possible––and there is still so much work to do.
