Yes! It’s We The People who own the resources. Big Oil only leases the right to drill and develop, so I’ve always believed the owners of the resource should derive benefit from development. Not solely Big Oil and certainly not government coffers benefitting. If we, the owners, are left out of the picture, then Big Oil greed and politicians’ corruption run roughshod over us.

(I know how this works. After serving as Mayor/City Manager, then resource regulator as Chairman of the Oil & Gas Commission, I was elected Governor - defeating incumbent Gov. Frank Murkowski - to eradicate the corruption. I sued Big Oil and the Obama Administration for their shenanigans, and I won for the people of Alaska. That, and vetoing legislators’ unnecessary pet projects, resulted in the budget surplus that I could return via profit shares sent to every Alaskan.)

Our ownership makes us pay attention to how extraction and production are carried out… it must be ethical and safe so the public can trust a transparent production process, resulting in necessary support to #DrillBabyDrill while managing the natural resources for maximum sustained yield🛢️⛽️💡🛠️

With all due respect, Congress did a lousy job explaining why the #SaveAmericaAct merged with the controversy-filled #NDAA today, despite the GOP not attempting to change out lackadaisical leadership in order to push through the hugely popular stand-alone election integrity measure.

Both the #VoterID mandate and the NDAA are now even more convoluted.

Moving next to the Senate, a myriad of questions must be answered - because they weren't answered in the House - pertaining to impacts on our sovereignty, fiscal transparency and shared costs, espionage and data risks, and so much more. At the very least, let's hear thorough discussion of basic accountability concerns that any responsible lawmaker should have.

Further, AND I’M JUST ASKING THE QUESTION SO CHILL, we must demand a straight-talk answer to this: In this day and age, does intertwining our defense industrial bases and data/intelligence with a foreign country's intel and agenda go beyond traditional global cooperation?

Multi-year lawsuit against #NYT for blaming me for murders “caused by” a PR firm using target emojis for congressional districts that SarahPAC targeted to win that year. (The same emojis democrats used on their political maps!) Millions of dollars spent, jobs lost, reputation and relationships shattered, all to prove I had no link to the crazy shooter’s motives.
