@shortflyslip@dougierydal@GregAFC But the more significant difference is hinge and away averages. Williamson still averages 47.4 away, Latham only 34.0 and getting consistently worse over the last few years.
@SpyHards Also - Kenneth Branagh was very evil and brilliant. It borrowed a lot from TV's the Night Manager (even with the same female lead) and Branagh was playing the Hugh Laurie role.
@SpyHards I loved it and didn't have any problem understanding it when I first watched it or on TV many years later. Clever, stylish. John David Washington is a bit bland, needed a stronger character in the lead. I also found the soundtrack jarring but I was supposed to I think.
I hugely enjoyed Flea's show at Koko last night. It was rambunctious, experimental, occasionally very loud and always very groovy. His trumpet tone was gorgeous and he's a very lyrical player. Also great to see Thom Yorke and Warren Ellis join him on stage.
Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir marked his 50th birthday with cakes decorated with a noose, including one carrying the message “sometimes dreams come true”, in imagery referencing executions of Palestinians.
Photos from the event show the noose symbol displayed prominently across multiple cakes at a gathering attended by senior police officials and political allies.
The symbolism points directly to Ben-Gvir’s push for a new controversial law enabling the execution of Palestinians, with hanging seen as the intended method under legislation advanced this year.
The display has drawn anger as it openly reflects a policy direction centred on state executions, reinforcing longstanding positions Ben-Gvir has taken in favour of capital punishment targeting Palestinians.
Ben-Gvir, a central figure in Israel’s far-right government who lives in an illegal settlement in the occupied West Bank, has consistently advanced policies condemned by human rights organisations as discriminatory and extreme.

Trump and Elon Musk destroyed most of the global H.I.V. program that saved hundreds of thousands of lives in Zambia.
Now the US is threatening to cut remaining support, unless Zambia gives access to the country’s mineral resources.

@shortflyslip@Sportsfan4233@Saves1990@ACScricket Yes I see this now. So not probably anomalous. Although interesting whether they would have all been called wides in another situation, be it a test or different umpires. Interesting to see what happens in the future...
@ACScricket@shortflyslip Due to an anomalous rule in the country Birmingham playing conditions about bowling into the rough! Would not have been test match wides.
Israel killed at least 254 people and wounded over 1,000 in just 10 minutes in Lebanon today, making it the deadliest day of the war. Trump needs to tell Netanyahu to include Lebanon in the ceasefire, and both leaders need to permanently end this war.
