@Drew_Pac__@ScottPresler If you’re referring to Voter ID, sure, if you’re talking about the SAVE Act, can we be sure 80% of Americans even know what that is?
@Drew_Pac__@ScottPresler By “mob majority” I mean the will of the people. In no way because 50.1 percent of the people have been persuaded of something does it make it moral or the best way of doing something. The American system guards against, may it ever be so

@Drew_Pac__@ScottPresler That’s one take on it. But I myself prefer Reps, senators and they live don’t always vote for what the majority of their constituents CURRENTLY believe. Yes, it may have to do with who’s paying them money, but the mob majority isn’t always right.
@Zondo321@sahilkapur Filibuster is part of minority rights within the senate. The two parties right now aren’t savvy enough to actually make effective legislation. Also, the breaking of the filibuster will just mean laws will be repealed all the time.
@lhef168@AstorAaron Term limits would require a constitutional amendment, changing the size of the house wouldn’t. Corruption accountability can happen at any time, doesn’t matter the size of the house
