Solidarity with the #railroadstrike. Horrible to see the so-called "progressive" squad side with the #Biden Administration and Congress' maneuvers to block this strike that was democratically decided by workers who face terrible working conditions. https://t.co/iECEJtHRee
I think it is going to matter less what either the Tory party or Labour do in the run up to the next election. Barring some new shock, the sentiment this poll highlights will do for the Tories. People won't forget the harm done to them and will want revenge at the ballot box.
Lib Dems’ @amcarmichaelMP on Rwanda judgment: “Whether or not it is lawful, the Conservatives’ Rwanda asylum plan is immoral, ineffective and incredibly costly for taxpayers.”
Imprisoned Palestinian brothers Ahmad and Adal Musa have reached the 16th day of a renewed hunger strike against their “administrative detention,” military internment without charge or trial, after the Israeli occupation regime broke a deal to release them. #FreeAhmadAndAdal
Many Tory MPs have financial interests in private health companies.
Repeatedly, they have been allowed to vote on measures that divert public money from the NHS to private health firms.
This should never be allowed.
It is corruption baked into our Parliamentary system.
lsraeli occupation forces target Palestinian journalists with tear gas bombs in Bayt Dajan, south of Nablus city.
The Rome Statute of the ICC establishes that intentionally directing attacks against civilians/journalists constitutes a war crime.
Jeremy Clarkson will not be held to account just as nobody from his class is ever held to account. We see it with Tory politicians who break the law and get away with it.
The rich and powerful and well-connected are running amok in our country.
The Specials were a celebration of how British culture was envigorated by Caribbean immigration but the onstage demenour of their lead singer was a reminder that they were in the serious business of challenging our perception of who we were in the late 1970s. RIP Terry Hall
