@SciFiArchives I built this in 3D during a film production I've been working on last year. This structure looks simple but actually those are very tricky shapes. I had to eyeball it as we didn't have any technical details and it had to be done in a day.
Cycles real time look-around in Blender. Concept art I did for Bryan Fuller (dir) and Jeremy Reed (prod designer) at the production of the Dust Bunny movie.
I studied fine art, & became a graphic artist in the 90s. I’ve spent 25yrs in advertising as an art director, designer, creative director. Then I spent 5 more years learning product- & environment design and concept art. I’m not afraid of AI. I’ll always enioy working w my hands.
@coldesign_ltd Niiice!
I wanted to update from my 3090 too, but I need to swap to a laptop unfortunately, as I have to commute back and forth to London. Lenovo, MSI, Asus, I have no idea. Would you recommend any of these? Hope you're well! (It's Gergely from the christmas party, btw 🙃)
More concepts I did for the film Nuremberg. Prod design by Eve Stewart, DOP Darius Wolszki, Dir James Vanderbilt. @russellcrowe 👏
All made in blender and PS, no ai.
FRANKENSTEIN is on NETFLIX but- still in about 100 theatres in USA — and many internationally… please consult your local listings and choose your watch/rewatch preference!
I was honored to work for the Nuremberg film as a Concept Artist. Helping Eve Stewart to bring the sets to life was a fantastic experience. And btw I’m a 2 times concept artist on @russellcrowe titles, How cool is that! 😇
Here’s a couple of concepts of the Palace Mondorf set.
@GnashKane I took classes from him, he’s one of the greatest anatomy and figure drawing teachers and a lovely person too.
Thank you for your posts by the way, always very inspiring!
