My heart is so full after watching Sinetch live. Seeing Filipino drag so beautifully celebrated on such a grand stage was powerful. A huge thank you to everyone who made this happen and to the queens who continue to inspire us. We are loud, we are proud, and we are here. Mabuhay ang Filipino Drag! 🥹🤍
What I loved about this year’s show is everyone did amazing, walang nagsapawan, and everyone kept it very professional. It shows that they all have good working relationships with eachother. Kudos to all of them, the queens, the writers, the production, everyone !!! ✨✨✨
We pulled a 3-hour non-stop show that still left everyone wanting for more. No breaks (except sa bio break ni Kris), no flops and NO SCRIPT. The gift and genius of improv is truly in the room!
Best trainers and best cast! 🫶✨
Our mentor Aih would have been so happy in heaven

Trans media personality Jervi Wrightson, also known as KaladKaren, weighed in on the ongoing discussion surrounding the lead casting of the upcoming stage adaptation, “Die Beautiful: The Musical.”
In a recent interview with radar Entertainment at “White Party Manila 2026,” KaladKaren underscored the importance of authentic casting in the entertainment industry, stressing that productions should reflect the true gender identity of the characters being portrayed.
“Ako naman, trans people—I mean, films, theater plays—should be truthful kung ano ba talaga ’yong gender identity no’ng role na dapat gampanan,” she said.
Pointing to the depth of talent within the community, the MMFF Best Actress added, “And I think, ang dami namang transgender people na pagpipilian, so why not cast them? So I’m pro to casting people for who they are.”
The conversation also touched on the casting of “Drag Race PH” alumni Viñas Deluxe and Maxie Andreison, who are set to alternate in the lead role of transgender beauty queen Trisha Echevarria. The transgender character was originally portrayed by Paolo Ballesteros in the 2016 film.
Asked for her message to the two performers, KaladKaren expressed admiration for their abilities while acknowledging the concerns raised by some sectors.
“I love both of them. Ang galing nilang dalawa,” she said. “It’s just that nagkaroon na ng issue because they’re not transgender women. But I think they can do the job.”
While voicing confidence in Viñas and Maxie, KaladKaren also highlighted trans theater actress Lance Reblando as a strong contender for the role.
“But Lance Reblando is also a very, very viable candidate for the position, so maybe cast her also. Why not?” she added.
Produced by IDEAfirst Live!, “Die Beautiful: The Musical” is scheduled to open in June 2027 at the Proscenium Theater in Makati.

kahit saang stage o lugar man yan, we will always be here cheering for you the loudest!
ang saya lang ma-experience ‘to firsthand and witness how loved you are by the crowd. so sooo happy and proud of you always. ily!! 🥹💖
If gusto niyong ipush si Misis as Trisha, wala namang kaso tbh.
happy pride, everyone!
