@AndreeaScacioc Such behaviour should be discouraged, by law if necessary. If everybody starts disclosing illnesses, then the few who don't will be viewed with suspicion. Several ppl's need for pity or chit chat is not more important that other's privacy. Send her a screen of this tweet haha.

@AndreeaScacioc This can be damaging. If it becomes the norm, then other women will be required to disclose too. We don't specify for other illnesses, so why should we when its about reproductive organs? Makes 0 sense. Sounds like she's doing it to create some tension. No-one cares. Stay home.

@krisopinion_1 However, please do search of opinions by trans women - they are out there. Kaytlin Jenner is one, and in addition to being trans, she is also a former Olympian. And yea, she also spoke about how ridiculous and unfair this is.

@krisopinion_1 In my original post I didn't say trans women shouldn't be part of sport. I said that it would be nice to have a category for people who have gone through puberty as female, so that their hard work doesn't get trumped by another's puberty.

@krisopinion_1 Well, you might not see a problem with competitive sport for persons who went through puberty as female (who are, you know, a huge chuck of human population) disappearing, but hopefully others will.

@krisopinion_1 Currently, they are not divided by sex, but gender (self identification) and only requirement is to not have more than 5 times (!!!) the testosterone of the average bio woman. Laurel's testosterone is currently slightly below the norm for a bio man of that age group.
