Cool postcard from Japan to Stettin, Germany. After ww2 it is now part of Poland. A good bit of fitness required for those steps up to the Temple Nikko. @GermanPhilately#stamps#philately Japan 🇯🇵

A couple of censored covers from Poland during the WW2 era. #stamps#philately Poland 🇵🇱
These stamps represent the Free Polish Forces fighting alongside the Allies, with specific issues commemorating the Polish Navy and armored units.
Area shown is likely near the Palais am Funkturm, with the famous radio tower visible on the right. A "Jeep" banner is visible on the left, indicating this photo was likely taken during a post-war trade event or exhibition feat. Allied cars. @GermanPhilately#stamps#philately
Small lot of Feldpost covers from ww1/2 The fact the postcards themselves would cost substantially more that the simpler non-colored ones. The messages contained within were also more precious for the senders and recipients. Tough but amazing! @GermanPhilately#stamps#philately
Possibly in Eritrea from patrol in the Mediterranean (re: Spanish Civil War) via Suez into Red Sea… wonderful piece of history! Thank you @piratephilately 👍👍🙏🙏
A very nice cover from Italian Eritrea. The ship label maybe clues us in as to a possible route/tour? The Emden was a notable light cruiser in the German navy (Reichsmarine/Kriegsmarine) launched in the 1920s …cover headed to Stettin, Germany. @GermanPhilately#stamps#philately

1940. Catch me if you can! Not at 36301 or 32221, nor 39154... but here at 01422... all Batteries of the 268th Artillery Regiment, with 01422 being the Column. Was the message was worth it? The dogginess of efficiency! Join the G&CPS at https://t.co/ryctOjj5fL #philately#stamps
Excellent. Thank you @atticusfinch a perfect example of Germany using postage stamps to aid the overthrow of its enemy (Britain) within India. Bose never did see a ‘free’ India.
@GermanPhilately Free India Essays from 1943 printed in Berlin for when the new nationalist government took control- which did not happen. #HistoryMatters#History
