Two great clubmen #GersAbú💛🖤
My son James was playing for @gersgaa yday & met Dick Burke, the former chairman of @odwyersgaa.
Dick is a native of Tulsk in Roscommon and his application to join the Gardai, @gardainfo, was signed by James's Grandad Pat Fogarty who was the Sergeant there from 1953-60.
Our own Cian O’Brien represented the Dublin U15 hurlers today in games v Tipperary and Down 👕
Cian is the first juvenile hurler from the Gers to play for his county 👏
He is pictured here with his parents Linda and Stephen, his teammates and coach Finbarr #GersAbú💛🖤
@gersgaa This is one of the saddest weekends in our long history. Nancy was a proud club member and did great work in many different roles. Her smile, style and friendship will be sadly missed. Deepest sympathies to Finbarr, Tadhg and her many close friends at this terribly sad time.
The club were very pleased to make a donation of 130 Easter Eggs to the Capuchin Day Centre.
They do wonderful work to support and help people in the inner city.
Louise, from the U15s team handed over the Eggs to Alan Bailey from the centre this morning 🐣
