@78Blue18@teadrinker68@MattJFootball Maybe, just maybe that’s due to their development being stunted by a dinosaur manager who hadn’t a clue how to develop young attacking players.
Otherwise your point is that he can’t spot talent and gave debuts to shite players, which is worse..
@78Blue18@teadrinker68@MattJFootball Giving debuts and developing young players is a different thing. Moyes failed with all those young talents. Vaughan, Baxter, Anichebe, McAleny, none of them developed by him. The reality is we need a manager who can develop young talent to be able to sell them and grow. He can’t
@78Blue18@teadrinker68@MattJFootball You mean Rooney, who Moyes decreed wasn’t ready for regular starts 🤦🏻You seem to be happy finishing 13th with a mediocre manager who will get us nowhere. Another happy clapper who cheered on the likes of Kenwright no doubt whilst he ransacked the club for his personal gain.
@78Blue18@teadrinker68@MattJFootball Or yoy know, not spaffed £6m on ‘prem ready’ James Beattie to power us over the line. Him being the great talent spotter of course.
Stay happily dissatisfied with your 13th place finishes and zero player development
@teadrinker68@78Blue18@MattJFootball Exactly. He only plays the percentages and will never progress us. Even in our much vaunted 4th place season we fell over the line due to him overplaying players and shitting the bed as usual. Repeats the same mistakes this year; he’ll never learn, never change
@78Blue18@MattJFootball He couldn’t get in the side because Dour Davy prefers to play CBs as FBs. Baines was ready, Moyes didn’t trust him until his hand was forced by injuries.
@CBeesleyEcho You’re an embarrassment spouting that club approved drivel. Find your integrity as a journalist and ask real questions of Moyes and the club instead of parroting the club propaganda
@franheavey81@BT_1878 Have people forgotten his first spell? Mostly turgid football and when he did assemble a decent team that could play well he always shat the bed when it mattered. He’s not going to progress us in line with the modern era’s requirements to develop and sell young talent
@franheavey81@BT_1878 Yes. We over performed results wise on most metrics indicating that we were riding our luck. Besides which his inability to solve the issues in the last 7 games just serves to highlight his inability/unwillingness to adapt or problem solve. He’s not the only problem but a big one
@franheavey81@BT_1878 Same points total from the last 2 seasons exp pts deductions after £130m spent. Shit football. No youth development. No plan B. The last 7 games proved he’s a poor manager, stubborn and outdated. Expect better.
@_Drew_McCoy_@photogareth@Iancroll1 Moyes is unable to coach and develop young players. Hence the preference for ‘Prem ready’ experienced players and farming out youngsters on loan rather than bring them through gradually. He’s a terrible fit and will only set us back with his limited & outdated mindset
@rossEFC95@FamousEFC_1878@ste_henry Recruitment was made to look poor by that dinosaur. When you buy talented youngsters your job as a manager is to develop them via coaching and motivation . Moyes just ignored them in place of his favourites even when they were bang out of form.
@RyanSoccerAA Other than Hull no one would touch him with a barge pole. He’s an overpaid dinosaur completely at odds with the required strategy of developing young talented players, all whilst playing negative, safety first, percentage football which doesn’t work as often as it does
