@bensmithrugby While I agree with you on the traditional role of the scrum, one must also consider that the professional era sees a lot less scrums than the amateur days due to the improvement in handling skills. So the impact of the scrum has to elevated to keep it relevant.

@SARugbymag I don't think they did. If they can't fill up 100% of the stadium for a RC test, then that target has not been met. If you had seats available that weren't taken because the fans who are the reason for you having a job couldn't afford to be there, then you took them for granted.
