@wrobinson101 many thanks. I listened for years - mid 90s onwards after I left work. But so sick of the moaning minnies who don't seem to help themselves,
@wrobinson101 no don't trust BT to do anything; my broadband was dug to the village by volunteers inc my husband. He dug it into our garden to the house with friends then the team came and connected it.
@wrobinson101 of course everything should be online when it's more efficient. Yes there are ppl who can't get on but I could probably find a way for them. Yes there needs to be something but not for the I don't need it brigade only genuine need.
@wrobinson101 one in IT and internet, the other in computing. Maybe ppl could find these courses for free now - not sure. Honestly there is no excuse but patient with my learners - when we can actually find each other - which is difficult. I undercharge so it's not expensive.
@wrobinson101 I did a one day course to see if I would find the internet useful. I already had keyboard skills. I had to go online Jan 2001 to try and fix a problem. I did two courses Level 4 with OU, when it wasn't too expensive.
@wrobinson101 2023-1995 oh 28 years, same age as my son, that's when internet became available for everyone. I was late to it. 2000 no internet, I had very young children, but learned how to use a PC for one year. I took proper lessons altho mostly self taught.
@wrobinson101 I have a business that can help all these people. I cannot reach them; many don't want to know. No available bband is a problem the rest is not. Do they still insist on using a well or candles or are they actually connected to a supply?
I just signed the @organisehq petition demanding @HMRCgovuk stop fining self-employed people unfairly - will you add your name? https://t.co/nsDXxY0yHQ
Jeezum this guy should be an inspiration for all of us. Running like an insane person for charity - and there are days doing a 15 minute workout takes all my effort.

@juliehes Many thanks, I was brought up with a similar dialect 🙂 and I know many say it and things change. But I was there in 1971 and this was the official way which I think sounds much better.
