Some people have been asking me "how I make my animations", and well, I don't want to keep it a secret.
Ever since I bought the program called Expressive Animator (Single payment program) @GetExpressive ,
I fell in love with it. It's easy to animate, has a user-friendly interface, and is compatible with Illustrator vectors. It really helped me get into the world of animation (unlike Adobe Animate, which was always a headache for me to learn). Anyway, here's a video of how I animate a banner with rasterized elements. @ByronMinick Hi Byron. Depends on how the animation is structured. One quick solution is to create a group that contains the animated artwork and center it. For support, please write us at [email protected] - we don't actively watch X.
🎨 Elastic and bounce effects are motion design favorites, but also some of the most time-consuming to create. Luckily, new tools make it easier. Meet Expressive Animator: lively animations in seconds, no tedious work of manual keyframe editing required: https://t.co/SToiAec7jn
@ByronMinick Hi, Byron! 👋 At the moment, we don't offer education pricing, but I'll make sure to keep you updated if and when this becomes available in the future.
The problem with having <text> in our exports is that people might use local fonts from their computer, and the resulting animation would look different for other people who do not have the font installed. That's why, currently, we follow a "what you see is what you get" approach, converting all text into paths when exporting. But this is an interesting use case, which we'll discuss internally to see if there is any reasonable solution.
Expressive Animator v1.6.0 is now available for download. This version brings support for negative letter spacing, splitting text into lines and words (in addition to chars), and other fixes and improvements.

Expressive Animator v1.5.1 is out, and it brings support for importing SVG filters. Currently, we support all CSS filters and a small subset of the filter primitives, with more to be added in future releases.

The first tests with vector brushes in Expressive Canvas are highly encouraging. We added support for creating custom brushes from vectors (see at 01:00), and it works wonderfully. Of course, the UI is just for testing purposes; the final work will be much more advanced and appealing. 😁
@beupwind Hi, Justin. Expressive Animator is a tweened animation software specialized in SVG animations. Features like onion skin are specific to frame-by-frame animation software, which EA is not. Check out this video to see how animations are created in EA.

@PoseMotion For now, we'll keep Expressive Animator in sync with SVG capabilities so people can embed and run vector animations into their websites without a player. Since SVG does not support sound and particles, lipsync and particle systems are not planned at this time.
🚀 Exciting news! We're transitioning to a one-time payment model, giving you a perpetual license with no ongoing fees. Say goodbye to subscriptions and hello to ownership! 🎉
