@Kovaak_of_qw Congrats though!

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@FicoFTW Exactly. I get so excited by new ideas I can't help but keep tacking them on 😅

Some of these are really ambitious and unique, but new features are ultimately useless until they're in the hands of users. I'm going to roll them out in phases soon enough.

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

Ever get so caught up with building new features that you forget to actually ship them? I've got some exciting changes to share with you guys soon enough!

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

Controversial opinion: stop recommending the mid version of the Key83 as the default base to most people. Soft is still the best option for the majority of newbies out there.

I fear people just misinterpret and parrot a youtubers opinions as if the mid version is magical.

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@stubbyfps Looking good!

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@FreshReviewsYT @JUST_LUK7N I was skeptical when I first saw that post too, until I started looking into it and finding more examples. That first example is extreme though and is a bad example - the reports are a bit noisy but there is definitely a trend. Even from pads purchased from authorised resellers

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

I've noticed a quiet trend of Artisan users (particularly of the Key 83) reporting issues with glue seeping through their pads. I haven't experienced it myself, but I'm curious if anyone else noticed it? If so, what firmness were you using? Looking to gather info

Raiden example:

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@frostyZK The mercury purple and hyperion green are really nice. Always nice to see options in different colours - the weave shows up better on the macro photos

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@howies4598 Interesting! Do you happen to have any photos?

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@r00t9r Neither! The spacing seems fairly spread apart so I'm unsure if it's just one batch. I think I see a trend where it tends to be the mid versions - and mainly the Key 83 or Raiden.

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@narot23 Yeah I've not noticed this issue either - but there's enough users reporting this now that I'm curious to hear more. The photo in the original post is extreme and perhaps a bad example, just curious to know if others have encountered it

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@Glohskey I've not tried this yet but would love to! Yeah I hear the Yako also doesn't have the hair issue. Glad to hear it!

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@peter_png1 @uNleashed_jp I can link to more examples if needed - as I say, the reports are noisy and the photo in the original post was one from Amazon, so might be a fake. Other reports were purchased from authorised resellers though. There's about 5 on the subreddit and I'm just trying to gather info

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@JUST_LUK7N I think Artisan highlighted the demand for premium pads and other companies have followed, seeing that people would pay those prices. I've tested some really good mid-priced options recently though. The TentaX Shinrai Edgeless and Mizu Works Cascade are two that jump to mind

This is another example I have seen on the subreddit. There's about 5 posts I have seen suggesting the same issue - but the data is a little noisy so I'm just trying to see if there's any more instances of it I can review

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@JUST_LUK7N Supposedly! But I should clarify, the example photo I used is the most extreme I have seen - I also wouldn't be surprised if the specific photo is a fake (it was purchased from Amazon).

However, other users are reporting similar issues even from authorised resellers.

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

Again, to clarify, this isn't my photo and it's not something I have encountered. I have noticed a small trend on /r/mousepadreview and am trying to determine how widespread/real the issue is - if at all

If you encountered this, please also confirm where you purchased it from.

@Juan1411764 @AuraGamingGear Hey @Juan1411764 - Aura have kindly sent out their pads for testing. Mind opening up your DMs so I can get in touch with you. The full testing / listing on MouseCTRL will be a little delayed due to a testing backlog - but I'd be happy to give some first impressions to you

@PhalangesCo My mousepad collection is what protects my virginity

[MouseCTRL @GetMouseCTRL]

@EndersFPS Ooh I'll keep it in mind. I'm a fan of Amouage but my wife doesn't like incense on me. I'll sample it though, thanks! Have you tried Burlington by Roja? It might be the most sophisticated citrus frag I've tried, except every now and then the cumin note is a bit reminiscent of BO
