Adding to this— some items we’d normally think of as cheap have long just been undervalued.

Crafts, weaves and many handmade goods take so much time to make. They are labor intensive and borne out of tradition.

Some things are expensive because they have intrinsic value.

While soc enterprises like us try to keep prices low, some factors are beyond our control. Some of our items are priced at a premium as sourcing from far flung areas & paying living wages add up

Better question is maybe how we can make PH supply chains more ethical & affordable?
