The story itself isn’t all that bad. The characters are a bit cliched and takes a while to warm to them, but the time you do feel something, it’s all over. Kinda like a Hollywood movie where the action takes over the development of the characters and you end up not caring.

Finished this new offering from Richard Osman.
I can’t help but think this new series was created with Hollywood in mind. Maybe he has a deal to sell the rights for another film deal, the characters in here are your typical Hollywood movie stereotypes. It lacks charm and wits.

Third of the way into the new Richard Osman book We solve murder. Unlike the Thursday murder club series, no feel for any of the characters. The protagonist, or I assume she’s the protagonist, is just so plain and generic.

Finished Black Myth Wukong. That was a long ass game. Great ending, surprised the Chinese government didn’t intervene and let the game release.
