@DJ_Link To be honest, nowadays you have affinity photo (cheap) and Krita (free) which are better than CS4 in my opinion. And they open and save in PSD format (although without compatibility with Photoshop layer attributes).
So this Adobe issue can be a good opportunity to check them out.
A small correction: they are 5 teams of students and not 6. Nevertheless, great news. These future game devs are already rocking :)
I also just found out that some former students of mine were also involved in one of the other nominated projects so it's really great to see this!
