I think it should come with bipods by default, but they must be given a slight balancing + qol pass: it's too much of a laser up to 200m and there any many places where bipods should be deployable, but are not

Now that you've lead people to infantry servers, HUMVEE encounters on those are way more frequent
Imagine the frustration people experience when they aim for a gunner and he is covered with ballistic shielding from the back, yet bullets fly straight out of it because he is actually 180° and aiming straight at them
Very disappointed that this hasn't been addressed in any way, especially that it is not in today's patch

#1 Issue in Marathon right now is Matchmaking

It is currently ruining the game for a huge chunk of players.
Low and mid-tier players with basic kits constantly run into fully kitted squads with top-tier consumables. Skill stops mattering when the gear gap is this brutal — and the power curve in Marathon is insane.

The game actually has a brilliant gear system. Your tiny stash forces real decisions every raid: what to keep, what to sell, what’s actually worth carrying. Most attachments only drop in-raid, so every item has weight. That’s excellent design.

But this great system gets completely undermined in normal queues. The risk-reward ratio is completely broken for anyone who isn’t running top gear — especially against premades.

The experimental sponsor kit queue proved exactly how good Marathon can feel.
Everyone starts on equal footing, fights are about skill and positioning instead of gear flexing. It was night and day.

I’d love to see a proper gear-capped matchmaking system — similar idea to the sponsor kits, but based on total monetary value of your loadout. That way progression still exists, upgrades feel meaningful, but the gap never becomes ridiculous.
