Today is #GivingTuesday and we'd love it if you'd consider supporting our inclusive community of faith. All gifts make a difference and help us to be a force for good in our community! You can give online at https://t.co/8dpxDUrut4!
Today (Nov. 20) is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Today we honor the memory of trans people whose lives have been lost in acts of anti-trans violence.
Trans people are beautifully and wonderfully made and beloved by God. No exceptions.
Our church also loves you and welcomes you with open arms! LGBTQ people are welcome, affirmed, and included in all aspects of church life at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church.
If you came out today, a long time ago, or may come out in the future, know that you are blessed and beloved by God. If you can't come out or don't feel it's the right time, God goes with you, too, and loves all of who you are.
Today we celebrate the heritage, accomplishments, and continued culture of the indigenous peoples of the land called the United States. GFBC sits on land home to the Lumbee and Yį Įsuwą people. Find out more about the land under your feet & its people at https://t.co/AaYBtc9E5k.
Our flags were stolen again last night. We're working on replacing them but in their absence, know that we still believe that Black lives matter and your queerness is beloved by us and by God. Be in prayer for those who feel compelled to destroy symbols of inclusion and love.
On Monday, September 12, We are hosting another Charity Golf Tournament at Lochmere, this year to benefit the upcoming organ renovation! If you would like to play, invite some friends and register at https://t.co/NCpM8KXvN6! Spread the word!
We're happy to report that GFBC saved up to 60 lives with the Be a Hero Blood Drive last Friday! Thank you to everyone who donated and thanks especially to Susan Beck for organizing!
Join us for worship at 11am!
