@WallStreetApes They lost the chance to do anything about this by refusing for decades to address mass data collection as a condition of service. Until they make laws that restrict the collection and sale of your data as a term of service, they're not taking this seriously.

Sony is reportedly getting back most of an estimated $508 million in U.S. tariff refunds after the tariffs that contributed to PS5 price increases were later ruled unlawful.

According to Sony CFO Lin Tao, most of the refund is going to the PlayStation business, with around 70% already received between April and June 2026.

Even so, Sony has not announced any plans to refund customers who paid the higher PS5 prices. The company is also facing a proposed class-action lawsuit in the U.S. claiming that some of the recovered money should be passed on to consumers.
