JCSO Deputies Use Fire Extinguishers to Hold Back House Fire
On August 2, JCSO deputies were the first to arrive at a house fire reported by an alert neighbor. No one was home at the time.
Deputies immediately grabbed their fire extinguishers and knocked down the flames three separate times as the fire repeatedly reignited. Their efforts helped prevent the fire from spreading until firefighters could get water on it.
Foothills Fire & Rescue, Genesee Fire Rescue and Highlands Rescue also responded and brought the fire under control.
We’re grateful to the neighbor who called 911 and to every first responder whose quick action helped protect this home and the surrounding community.

BR959 is back — and already heading out again. Crew returned last night, washed the truck this morning, and a fresh crew is taking it right back down to the Aspen Acres Fire tonight. Proud of everyone involved. District coverage remains solid. 🚒
