I am currently in an Uber, en route to the airport for a flight to London tonight, and the driver has been sharing some rather extraordinary accounts of his experiences with female passengers.

According to him, the behaviour he witnesses ranges from the unusual to the outright shocking. He recounted multiple instances of women changing their clothes in the back of his car, seemingly transitioning from one rendezvous to another. More strikingly, he stated that some have offered sexual favours in lieu of payment upon reaching their destination.

One particular story stood out. He described a recent trip where his passenger asked him to pull over and turn off the radio. She then made a call to a man, pretending she had been woken from a deep sleep by his call. Once she had convincingly sold the story and ended the conversation, they continued their journey to her actual destination: another man's house in Adenta.

He concluded with a sentiment born of weary experience: "This job," he said, "has taught me never to trust any woman."

It makes one wonder about the hidden stories unfolding in the backseats of cars across the city. Have you ever driven for Uber or a similar service? If so, what is your most memorable story?
