Merasa Tak Dihargai, Perenang Senior Cabut Duluan dari Pawai SEA Games 😐

Atlet renang Indonesia, I Gede Siman Sudartawa, merasa tak dihargai saat mengikuti arak-arakan juara SEA Games 2023 tadi pagi sehingga Siman memutuskan berpisah dengan rombongan dan tak mengikuti arak-arakan hingga selesai.

🗣️"Kayaknya sih enggak (ikut sampai ke GBK). Melihat seperti itu (kondisinya) kayaknya tidak diperlukan sebenarnya kehadiran kami," ujar Siman

Siman bercerita merasa tak dihargai sejak acara pembukaan di Kemenpora sebelum arak-arakan dimulai. Bagaimana tidak, Siman dan puluhan atlet peraih medali SEA Games lainnya tiba sebelum pukul 08.00 WIB seperti yang sudah ditentukan.

Namun, Siman dan para atlet lainnya diminta pemandu acara untuk bersabar karena masih harus menunggu Timnas Indonesia U-22 yang tak kunjung datang.

🗣️"Kami merasa kok ada cabor yang terlalu dispesialkan. Kami merasa tidak dihargai, sudah datang awal sesuai waktu, disuruh menunggu. Kami sama-sama berjuang, kok. Kami juga sama-sama dapat medali. Kenapa seperti itu? Terus pas waktu berangkat kok terjadi kesenjangan yang jauh," kata Siman.

Bagaimana tidak, saat puluhan atlet dari 31 cabang olahraga peraih medali SEA Games 2023 kompak naik bus karnaval yang disediakan Kemenpora. Tapi, Timnas U-22 malah datang dengan bus double decker pun memimpin rombongan, meski terlambat.

🗣️"Jauh sekali perbedaanya. Jadi kita ngerasain kayak ini selebrasi buat satu cabor saja atau buat semuanya? Kenapa terjadi perbedaan? Kami berjuang bersama kan harusnya dipukul rata dong. Semua sama, harus sama. Kami kan berjuang juga di SEA Games, tapi terjadi banyak perbedaan. Kami merasa sedikit tidak logis saja sebagai atlet. Bisa dibilang gak sportif lah jadinya," kata Siman.
