Keider might be my favorite pitcher on the Tigers.
All the buffoons who run this team do is mess with him. Up and down to Toledo. Starter to pen. No matter how well he's pitching he's the one they do it to.
And he responds by straight dealing, with heart and with balls.

Vandy Dandy Report – Game 81
Halfway through the season, here’s my biggest takeaway.
The biggest mistake this organization made was not signing Tarik Skubal. Whether people want to admit it or not, it’s put a cloud over this team. Everyone in that clubhouse knows there’s a real chance he’s gone. That changes the feel of a season. Players want to believe the organization is all-in to win. When your best player isn’t locked up, that belief takes a hit.
Second, Gleyber Torres means more to this offense than most people realize. He may not have the biggest numbers because he’s missed time, but he’s the cog that makes the machine work. When the cog is gone, the machine breaks down. It’s that simple. Without him, this offense is well below average.
Third, Dingler, Greene, and McGonigle have carried this club. Dingler, especially, has had a breakout year and deserves to be an All-Star. Those three are a big reason the Tigers are still only 7½ games back with 81 to play.
My biggest frustration is this: this organization has shown it’s willing to hand out big contracts based on what it thinks a player might become, yet it hesitated to lock up the one player who has already proven he’s one of the best in baseball. That’s a hard one to understand.
Go Tigers. #VandyDandyReport
