Rupert Lowe turns £619,000 into a 219-page inquiry report - EXTRAORDINARY

On 16 June 2026, the Restore Britain leader publishes a 219-page report into organised child sexual exploitation, carrying survivors’ testimony and specific demands into Parliament while the official inquiry is not due to finish until 2029.

The story begins in March 2025. Rupert Lowe says that if the Government will not hold the inquiry victims deserve, ordinary people can help fund one.

The response is astonishing. The appeal passes £500,000 in roughly a week and eventually raises more than £619,000 through over 20,000 donations.

Lowe does not pretend that money gives him the power of the state. He openly says the inquiry is imperfect and cannot compel witnesses or documents.

Instead, the team builds what it can.

Rotherham survivor and campaigner Sammy Woodhouse leads the inquiry staff. Three sitting MPs join the panel. Survivors, parents, journalists, whistleblowers and safeguarding professionals give evidence during two weeks of hearings in February 2026, with specialist support available for witnesses.

Their accounts describe children failed not only by abusers, but by police forces, councils, social services and other institutions responsible for protecting them. These are testimonies and allegations requiring proper investigation, not criminal verdicts delivered by a political report.

The Government has also changed course. Its own statutory inquiry formally begins in April 2026 with legal powers to demand evidence, a £65 million budget and a deadline of March 2029.

That does not make Restore Britain’s work redundant. It makes the contrast sharper.

Rupert Lowe’s inquiry has already listened, published and proposed action. Its recommendations include stronger protection for victims, specialist prosecutors, tougher sentences for organised child exploitation and further investigations where evidence supports them.

Lowe also takes the report into the Commons through Early Day Motion 380. Nine MPs have now signed its demand for a formal government response and a timetable showing which recommendations ministers will implement.

Two days after publication, a government minister welcomes Lowe’s work in Parliament and asks him to pass relevant evidence to the police and statutory inquiry. Another MP asks why victims should wait years for answers when this report already exists.

That is what practical opposition looks like. Restore Britain has not merely issued another angry statement; Rupert Lowe has raised the money, assembled the witnesses, published the evidence and forced a response.

At the £500,000 mark, the average donation is just £31.44. Those small contributions now sit behind 219 pages that ministers have formally been asked to answer.

After monitoring crossings very carefully over the past month, our conclusion is that the only thing that stops boats from crossing is the weather. Our government has lost control of our borders: land, sea and air.

The Bible says that those who are in government have a duty before God ‘to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good’ (1 Peter 2:14). In other words: to punish lawbreakers and reward those who abide by the law.

We strongly suggest that our government is doing the opposite: it is effectively rewarding those who break the law by entering the country illegally and punishing those who are legally protesting against this.

Rupert Lowe has joined Piddington’s parish meeting in Oxfordshire, where residents are fighting a fast-tracked plan to house 1,256 male asylum seekers at a nearby MoD site.

Resident Jamie Perkin says every MP has been invited: “We’ve had Rupert Lowe come and join us this evening.”
