@souderico@ajtorres1230 yeah i mean its still hard to give it to him over mahomes even if he stayed healthy because mahomes had probably had a t3 qb season in the decade but easily would have won mvp in 2023 or possibly even 2024
@souderico@ajtorres1230 was talking about 2024 when he got the top 5 talks after sbmvp, he was fine that season but certainly wasnt top 5 lol.
2022 hurts though was damn near t1 he was so cold steichen is a wizard because hes made daniel jones look elite richardson might just be turbo dogshit
After 7 years, I've finally done it. 4:54,365, I'm the first ever brazillian to have untied WR in any% of smb1, and it's way better than I ever expected to have it be. HOWEVER, the grind is not over. There are still 6 frames to be saved until I'm done. Stay tuned! :)
@souderico@ajtorres1230 100% the hurts discourse got out of control when hurts fans placed him top 5 after a year he definitely wasnt top 5 and wasnt spectacular and then after a down year hurts haters overcorrected lol.
@souderico@ajtorres1230 getting to run the ball 30 times for 5-6 yards a carry also probably made me not notice haha
as a cowboys fan i hope hurts and the eagles suck next year but as an nfl fan it would be nice to see hurts get back to 2022 but better because he was legitimately elite then
@souderico@ajtorres1230 i agree, i was misunderstanding the context in which yall were bringing up the play.
granted in the eagles games i watched this year the hurts aj connection looked funky every time. hurts' accuracy was elite except when throwing to aj and they never seemed on the same page
@souderico@ajtorres1230 yes i didnt think about the playcall part, thats a good point, i just dont think its as huge of a drop as a drop that flat out ends a drive because you are actually able to recover on 4th down but you have convinced me that im still minimizing the importance of it slightly
@souderico@ajtorres1230 regardless in the end its really a failure from the entire offense, some played worse than others but you should never have your backs against the wall against a backup 49ers defense especially when your defense gets 2 turnovers off the actually really good 49ers offense
@souderico@ajtorres1230 well yeah we'll never know what would have happened for sure but he has to fully extend for that ball while in the air and then land on his feet and break a tackle almost immediately while bringing the ball in. also rewatching the clip it looks like the ball gets tipped slightly?
@souderico@ajtorres1230 he was midair for the catch because he had to jump for it unfortunately he canโt control how fast he falls. obv if the db takes a bad angle then it does go for a touchdown so in that sense weโd never know but he was about to get his shit rocked once he touched the ground lmao
@Vincent98V@Philly_Bul215 with pressure in his face basically off his back foot*
point is, itโs just not a good decision by hurts to risk that when itโs first down and a turnover automatically loses the game and you still have a chance to win or at worst tie the game if u donโt make that decision
@Vincent98V@Philly_Bul215 double standards are funny, that touchdown to aj youโre talking about was actually a great play made by the db and is neither hurts or ajโs fault
the difference with the final play is that its 1st down in ot and instead of being safe you throw it soft into a tight window
