I feel like a lot of people have been taught how to watch movies “smartly” that they miss that there can be compelling emotional effects by repeating certain parts of the story already seen. It’s not necessarily lazy spoon-feeding the audience (but it’s a case by case basis).
Hey Hitlerina would you mind elaborating on the Hitler shit you said the other day we’ve got a bunch of Hitlers out here who’d love to hear it Sure no problem
I had a line to the programming director of MTV once and he relayed that people never shut up about them not showing music videos anymore.
“We do show music videos … all day every day on MTV2. Nobody fucking watches it”
Lesson in there.
stuff like this is SO funny to me cause it rlly says a lot more about YOU as a person more than anything else. the fact that YOU are the odd person out compared to hundreds of thousands of reviews & automatically think everyone else is “lying” is PURE MAIN CHARACTER syndrome.
That half-inning captures the #BlueJays' offence, unfortunately.
Single, single, single to load the bases, but they can't land the big blow. It's been missing all season.
