💀 I genuinely wonder what Sonys first party studios really think about the decision. It’s probably not all one way or the other but I want to know the split.
EVIL DEAD BURN director Sébastien Vaniček wants to bring THE MASK back with a darker adaptation in line with the original comic books.
"I think I would dig into The Mask, but make it closer to the comic books. The comic books are actually very, very violent and dark," he says.
I wasn't really expecting anything from #MinionsAndMonsters seeing how the last two films are just kind of whatever. But I'm glad to say that Minions & Monsters is the best film Illumination has made since the original Despicable Me.

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire's physical copies will not require an internet connection to play the game.
If you insert the disc/cartridge into an offline PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, or Nintendo Switch 2, the game will be playable.
If your console is connected to the internet, the latest update will be downloaded, which we recommend in order to install the latest quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and more.
We hope you enjoy your time in Mouseburg 🐭
Being a 1:1 adaption doesn’t mean you’re going to be getting the same critical score.
I’m not going to say the movie deserves or doesn’t deserve the score.
But imagine speaking out for a live action remake of a decade old movie. 🦧
The movie that was shelved because of the similarities to companion, now coming out because of the similarities to obsession.
Wild stuff tbh, but glad it’s being released even if it is just a streaming release
Out of the 3 Yakuza games I beat this year I’d say, The Man Who Erased His Name is the best, followed by Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, & then Yakuza Kiwami 3.
Enjoyed all of them, can understand why people don’t like YK3, but I enjoyed it more than the original. The combat >
Christopher Nolan says he would love to make a horror movie & is searching for the right idea.
“l think it's a genre that's essentially cinematic… you're really trying to give the audience a feeling of what the characters are experiencing.”

This is shocking and sad. id is arguably the strongest studio Xbox owns; the new Doom trilogy is exceptional. I love all three games.
We are so, so, so lucky Microsoft never got its hands on Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, etc, because they would have unapologetically destroyed them.
I’m all for criticizing casting choices, but to pretend that it’s only because they’re losing the “PR battle” & not because there are just awful people who have done nothing but attack the movie, & spew hatred. Is a bit disingenuous.
One of the big reason for this is, they take too damn long for a new season. You can’t take 2+ years for a season. That’s probably not as long as the first season, & maybe not as good
& also like you said the binging model kills all excitement. Weekly drops > dropping all at once
Netflix hit shows lose btwn 30% & 70% audience Season 1 to 2. I forget about shows 2yrs later. No emotional connection. No anticipation from week to week bec of bingeing. Short orders. Ads now. Everyone watching diff platforms fragments audience. Managing to kill streaming too.
It’s not surprising that The Odysseys first reactions are just over the top praise.
It’s Christopher Nolan, & it’s been hilarious to see people try to talk down about his career because he’s decided to do some castings they don’t like.
Didn’t speak on this earlier, but this has to be one of the most subtle yet heartbreaking moments in the entire film that just feels so utterly human. The fact that an hour prior to this in the movie MJ had shared her dream with Peter to be an actress and make it big and was so happy when he began rooting for her, now she doesn’t want him to know that dream wasn’t fulfilled because he might be disappointed. Only for him to build her back up and tell her it’s okay to stumble or take an unexpected detour in life, as long as you maintain your pride and sense of self.
That is, in my opinion, the most Spider-Man thing ever.
