Topping the list of things that absolutely melt your heart: Our Gr. 1/2 music leadership buddies wrote and illustrated a book about an Academy of super heroes with music powers! What an incredible example of learning across curricula - music and ELA in beautiful partnership. 🎶📚

Inter-age learning is such a powerful and magical opportunity. Far from a one-sided benefit, all of these students (and their teachers, too) are learning about themselves, each other, and the creative process in a way we could not have imagined would be so rich!

What a great experience to perform in the Mae Wilson Theatre. I had genuine goosebumps during this performance! Congrats GHS Wind Ensemble. You knocked it out of the park. ❤ When your performance makes your conductor tear up on stage, you know you've made some authentic music!
