Today Simon Curry & I have written to the Minister for Road on the issue of Medway road conditions.

The bill to bring the roads up to a reasonable standard would be around £50 Million.

The 91% reduction in revenue support grant since 2010 means Medway needs the right resources.

A stark reminder that @medway_council have had a 91% cut in Government Funding since 2010.

The pressure on all councils, particularly those with statutory care responsibilities, are real and genuine meaning difficult decisions have to be made to balance the books.
