So much bullshit still going around regarding Saquon Barkley and the New York Giants. Mock Joe Schoen and the Giants all you want, keep bringing up the Hard Knocks clip, because doing so only makes you look like a fool pushing a false narrative.

The only person to blame for Saquon being an Eagle is Saquon. The only person to blame for Saquon not being a Giant is Saquon. That probably upsets some who believe fake news and push propaganda but it's the truth.

In November of 2022, Joe Schoen was set to make Saquon the second highest paid back in the NFL by getting a deal done mid-season. Saquon and no one else, turned that down and chose to wait until the season was over. The result was a $10M franchise tag.

Had Saquon taken the deal, it is very likely it would have been Jones who came back on a tag and this entire narrative is drastically different. Instead, Barkley and his team got greedy and the rest is history.

But pushing a fake narrative from Hard Knocks doesn't make reality. Joe Schoen and the Giants tried to show Saquon what he meant to them in the middle of a great season. He's an Eagle today by his own actions. That is a fact. Get over it.
