His & Hers on Netflix is the exact plot twist I want to witness in every single show I watch. My heart stopped for a second and I almost shed a tear or four.
Nigerian doctors wailing about braindrain, excessive workload, poor facilities and decline in quality of training
ZERO OUTCRY
Nigeria resident doctors and JOHESU on strike for over a month
ZERO OUTCRY
Cases of medical negligence leading to death
YEEEE! NIGERIAN DOCTORS ARE POORLY TRAINED!
THEY ARE BUTCHERS!
THIS PLACE IS A CEMETARY! AHHHH! NIGERIA DOCTORS DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, THEY ARE BUSY DOING TECH, ORI WON TI KU and blah blah
Many doctors here on X, myself inclusive have been wailing for years on this matter, we've pointed out that the healthcare system is fucked.
We have been pointing out the inadequacies for years.
But the unserious people out there won't point to the real culprit of our shitty healthcare system.
Jokers.
Instead of the government addressing the concerns of striking health workers across federal and tertiary hospitals, a strike that has crippled our healthcare system for over two months now, they have chosen to implement a “no work, no pay” policy.
This is simply adding salt to an already existing injury.
Resolve this strike and save the millions of Nigerians who are suffering and dying as a direct result of this prolonged healthcare shutdown.
Nigerians deserve better!
Nigerian healthcare workers deserve better!!
@channelstv@efe_palmer Courts are often used by government as a delay tactic, not a final solution. The court needs to lift the interim injunction and give a gives a substantive ruling on the dispute
Hepatitis B immunoglobulin (HBIG) in Nigeria is expensive, yet health workers often have to spend more than half of their salary to procure it after a needlestick injury.
Let me explain:
A core Muslim country, is afraid of sending their Muslim citizens to a Christian country, cos of fear of being turned into terrorists by the Muslims in the Christian country.
But Christians in the said country, are ignorant of the mess they are in.
A whole clown show.
Nigeria’s doctors are under siege.
Kidnapped for ransom.
Killed if ransom isn’t paid.
All while earning too little for basic needs.
This is a national crisis that cannot continue.
