Ella Langley continues to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with “Choosin’ Texas” gaining it’s historic 13th week at No.1 along with “Be Her” holding spot No. 3 and her Morgan Wallen duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore” making a new peak at No. 4. This feat officially makes Langley the first female country artist to hold three songs in the top 4 in the chart’s history.

Chase Elliott will be doing quadruple duty this weekend, driving the CARS Tour PLM & LMSC races and Craftsman Truck race in addition to the Cup race at North Wilkesboro. The LMSC and Truck races are significant in that they were originally meant for Kyle Busch.

"Definitely will be special for that reason, for sure. Would love to go and get a win in honor of him and his career, and just the friend that he was to me over the years as well.

"I don't know how my name got drawn or asked or what it was, but I appreciate them thinking of me and letting me have that honor to go and run those races."

Chase will run the LMSC race in the No. 8 for JR Motorsports and the Truck race in the No. 7 for Spire Motorsports. He'll also be in the PLM race with FR8 Racing, his usual late model team.

Beluga Whale Escapes Research Facility And Swims Hundreds Of Miles Back To Her Baby

After months of permits and planning, a female beluga from Alaska’s Cook Inlet was moved to a marine research facility in Seward so scientists could study her recovery after giving birth before releasing her back into the wild. Her calf had already reached the age where it could survive without milk, so researchers believed the timing was safe. But what they didn’t account for was the part of motherhood that doesn’t show up on a chart. Staff said she spent her first days in the holding tank oddly calm, circling the same wall over and over, almost like she was memorizing the way out.

Then, before sunrise, cameras caught her launching herself out of the research basin and into the bay. Because she had been tagged for tracking, crews followed her signal as she pushed through open water, traveling hundreds of miles back toward Cook Inlet. Days later, she was spotted near the same stretch of water where her calf had last been seen, swimming beside the young beluga like she had never planned to leave at all. Scientists hoped to learn what a mother’s body goes through after birth, but what they learned instead was much harder to measure: a mother’s love does not end just because the milk does.

Why is "Country Roads" by John Denver making a serious revival?

It’s everywhere on social media, sung loud and proud by people of all nations. I think it’s because we all want to go back to when the world made sense—now more prominent because we live in unrecognizable times. The ache of returning to something that felt safe is understandable. We are homesick.

In many ways, the World Cup in the USA has given people the freedom to feel what they needed: frivolity, kinship, and escape from stupid politics.
