Bluetooth speakers should ship with a public veto feature.

Anyone within bluetooth range should be able to mute it, skip the track, or replace the current song with a primary school recorder recital.

If someone appoints themselves DJ for the whole park, bus stop, or train carriage, everyone else should get editorial control.

This should be law. I want to watch a politician explain why it isn���t.

Just ask the mother a few metres away whose kids have started reciting the chorus of Khia’s “My Neck, My Back.”

Just landed and heading to Downing Street to rally against antisemitism at 13:00. Ahead of the rally, I’ve put some thoughts in @Telegraph.

Our kind and neighbourly country has been radicalised. They’ve started with our children. A fifth of students won’t share accommodation with a Jew. Foreign networks run amok in our island nation. From Iran to the Muslim Brotherhood they spread hatred so effectively that the United Arab Emirates no longer sends students here.

And the response of successive governments and the police? Appeasement that would have Churchill and our Greatest Generation spinning in their graves. Those who called to “globalise the intifada” have succeeded and given us our own variant: the Britifada.

The Britifada is powered by propaganda and obsessive Palestinianism. They have weaponised our British decency by outraging it with slick content that paints the Jewish state as uniquely evil. They have enraged British Muslims in fiery sermons and online exhortations to violence. Suddenly the Middle East, with its complex conflicts, is not thousands of miles away: it is constantly in their minds and it is terrifyingly simple.

The result is anything but British. It is blind extremism. In this country, which is famously slow to anger, avowed “anti-racists” shout “baby killers” when they see Jews and attack police with sledgehammers. Islamist extremists incited by foreign powers stab Jews and burn our community. And against this onslaught, there is inertia and gaslighting from cowards in positions of authority.

The solution lies with each of us.

These are the details about the man in custody over the Golders Green terrorist attack that have not yet been released. They raise serious questions that deserve urgent answers.

Very little detail has been released about the identity of the person in police custody over the terrorist stabbing attack against two Jewish people in Golders Green. He has not yet been charged.

The safety of Jewish people in the UK, and the population generally, is a matter of the greatest public importance – lives are at stake; it is not a question that is determined by any later criminal trial, nor can proper discourse await such a trial.

Police have simply said that he is a Somali-born British national, was known to the Prevent programme and Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has been quoted as saying he has a history of “serious violence and mental health issues”.

CAA’s investigators found that he has previously served multiple, significant prison sentences for armed assaults, including stabbing two police officers and their dog in 2008.

His employment history has included working as a security guard at a primary school.

CAA has received reports that he has previously gone to vigils held for the hostages formerly held by Hamas in Gaza, where he was verbally and physically abusive towards Jews, resulting in him being reported to the police.

This information raises serious new questions about the terrorist incident. Those questions deserve urgent answers.

We consider that it is important to provide this information to inform the public debate and we do so in full adherence with the requirements relating to the reporting of active criminal matters.

Where was Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley two years ago when his officers threatened me with arrest for being “quite openly Jewish” in the vicinity of a hate march?

Back then he said his officers did the right thing and these were “peaceful” protests.

Now he says it is “unacceptable” that British Jews have to make choices about how to look and where to go.

This man is a disgrace to British justice would resign if he had any honour at all.
